Because my Nintendo Retro deviation was so popular I decided I should take a stab at making a SNES version. The detail and quality is still very low but these were really just made for fun.

I’m not sure I like this one as much as the NES version. The system didn’t have a lot I could incorporate into the Wii without actually altering the shape of the case. Because I didn’t want to change the shape of the Wii I just worked with what I had. Most of the SNES flair is on the Wii remote. The nunchuk is pretty bland when compared to the Remote, but that’s because the shoulder buttons and the controllers housing were the same color on the SNES pad. I might make the buttons on it purple later but I’m not sure.
The system its self is also a little bland. I did change the buttons on it slightly, and the SD card bay was made dark gray like the cartridge eject lever on the SNES

If you have any ideas on things that could be improved let me know.

Thanks. This one was a littler harder to realize than the SNES but it was just begging to be made.

Indeed a great system. Probably my favorite of them all. I play games for SNES more often than any other system. The games just seem better.

Yep, I agree. Such amazing games. Now as graphics are getting better and better, the games themselves are getting worse and worse.

If you ask me, developers are hoping to wow their audiences with better graphics and (occasionally) better or more involved storylines. I'm all for the story bit, but the point of video games is: make it a fun experience.

With that said, you guys should check out Cave Story. (It's linked in my sig. :) )

Mine was destroyed by two younger brothers. I did manage to pick up the 2nd run SNES though so I have that. :)
